HERBAL THERAPY

Practice Tian specializes in herbal therapy.

A distinction is made between Chinese herbal therapy and Western herbal therapy.

The traditional Chinese herbal therapy uses extracts of vegetable, mineral and animal origin. These preparations come in raw form, powder form or granules, pills and decoctions.

Together with acupuncture, herbal therapy is an important pillar within Traditional Chinese Medicine.

At the Western herbal therapy, also called Phytotherapy, only extracts of vegetable origin are used.

During both the training 'Chinese Herbs'if'Western Phytotherapy'the interactions between medication and herbs were thoroughly studied. This is to be able to rule out possible interferences.

Therefore, bring a list of the medicines to be taken with you at the first appointment or keep the therapist informed about later adjustments.

Medicines prescribed by the doctor are not intended to be discontinued. Advice in this regard belongs solely to the doctor.
