BPPV (benign paroxysmal positioning vertigo)

Is benign seizure-related postural vertigo. The patient has a spinning sensation occurring after certain head movements (turning in bed, bending over, lying down or standing up,…). These complaints are caused by a temporary disturbance in the vestibular system in the inner ear.

After testing, the physiotherapist can determine which treatment (maneuvers) and exercises are needed to help the patient get rid of it.
